Put our experience to work on your projects. Our experts are committed to your success, delivering robust, data-driven software solutions with the best tools for IT transformation.
Machine Learning
At Synthalia, we have developed and implemented a concrete methodology to incorporate machine learning in various use cases. This methodology includes four phases: business analysis, implementation of the data pipeline, development of ML models, tracking and quality building. Our overall goal is to help our clients harness machine learning to fuel new business opportunities that can differentiate them in the market.
Intelligent Analytics
Our mission is to derive high-quality actionable intelligence for science, industry and society. Whether the client is looking to establish behavioral patterns or to define and categorize a specific problem, Synthalia will come in handy. We undertake any project along the data value chain, from data extraction, integration and storage to scalable data processing, exploration and visualization.
Natural Language Processing
NLP-driven tools and services enable organizations to automate their complex business processes while gaining essential business insights. For instance, it can be used for search autocomplete and autocorrect, customer service automation, feedback analysis, spam filtering, etc. Synthalia’s NLP technology can effectively extract information from a variety of documents at scale. With minor adaptations, it can also be linked into the clients’ workflows.
Success stories
Best practices are our business. A great number of European companies have leveraged our services to create a tech-driven business strategy. Our unique deployment methodology, perfected in hundreds of project deliveries, reduces complexity and gets the project done right the first time, within budget.
Success story 1: Ticketing
The primary need of the client was to track and consolidate support requests in one easy-to-manage location to improve collaboration and communication between the technical and support teams. At Synthalia, we offered an integrated solution with the following features:
- Create, manage and maintain a list of user-oriented feature requests and technical problems
- Multi-channel: Accessible through the company website and by the support technicians
- Automatic communication with the users
- Prioritized requests to reduce ticket turnaround time
- Reports to gauge areas of improvement for users
- Advanced query tool
- Connection to the CRM system
Success story 2: Application monitoring on the cloud
A software development company came to us wishing to monitor and manage its commercial products from one interface. The primary goal was to ensure that the software solutions are performing as expected, at all times, without interruptions, while delivering supreme user experience.
Synthalia delivered a unified system able to:
- Detect performance issues and downtime
- Get notified on deviations from baseline thresholds
- Customize alert conditions and schedule reports
- Reports on error rates or latency percentiles
- Utilize machine learning to detect errors
- Analyze and explore log data in context
Having the system in use for more than a year, the client reported improved customer-reported experience and reduced downtime by 25%.
Success story 3: ML for cybersecurity
A medium-sized retail store came to us looking for an automated solution to effectively identify cyber incidents, either previously seen or unseen, and intelligently protect its systems from such cyber-attacks.
Our specialized team collected a sizable amount of data related to cybersecurity incidents that occured in businesses of the same sector. These datasets were used to extract security incident patterns and insights, and build corresponding data-driven models. Those models were leveraged in a multi-layered framework that detects cybersecurity incidents. In particular, based on data from past attacks, a supervised learning classifier was trained to identify the tell-tale signs of different types of attacks, without the need for humans to generate specific lists of rules that would trigger an alert. So far, after using the system for six months, the client recorded a 45% decrease in false security alerts and timely detection of three cyberattacks.
